A turtlebird (2)

Early in the morning on Sunday, we put it on the same place, at the base of tree. Before we put it, its mother bird( lady turtle bird has white belly) had been near the tree and had looking for her baby. We heard that if a baby bird had a smell of human being, its parent bird would abandon it. So we decided to let it out. It was still raining on Sunday but we left it. I put a plastic bag on the top of tree. At least it needs not to get wet. I wondered why it cannot fly and take shelter from the rain.
In the afternoon, it was going to clear up. When I saw that it preened its feathers, I felt at ease. It was still alive and had some energy to do something.
After a while, its father bird who had red belly came to it and sat in front of it. After he left, its mother bird came there and sat in front of it. They looked that they encouraged it.

When we looked for it in Sunday evening, they were not there. Did they leave? We're looking for them. I found the baby bird who was on the roof of the house next door. She didn't move too. Since the distance from the window of my room and the roof is only 2m, I could watch it. At least, before the sundown, it didn't move. I became increasingly worried.
On Monday morning, when I got up, it wasn't there. It left. I want to think that it fly away into distance. I want to believe so.

I always call to a friend of mine who is an animal doctor when I have a trouble about the pet animals. The turtledove isn't my pet but I called and asked her. What should I do?

After baby birds of turtledove left their nest, they cannot fly immediately. They practiced flying and sometimes come back to their nest. And their parents always keep a very close watch them grow. It takes a few days to fly away.
What I saw might be a natural phenomenon. But I felt parental love of turtledove. It was the first experience of bird watching. It has been 3 days since they left. Where are they taking shelter from this rain now?
